The Port Rowing General Fund

Friends of Port Rowing was founded in 2012 by Monika Dorman and Mitch Tamkin with the goal of bringing rowing to the Port Washington community. Since then, the program has grown tremendously achieving multiple New York State Championships and frequent US Rowing Youth National Championship qualifications. Our program is fully funded by program dues and generous donations. Donations play a key role in keeping the program running. 

Your donation directly supports operational and capital needs of the team, as well as impacting efforts to increase our participation and further build awareness of the sport in our area. Donations of any amount are welcome, as are corporate matching donations.  We thank you for your help in providing the best experience possible for all of our athletes.
