What is this?
Learn to row camp is designed for athletes entering grades 7-12. Athletes are given the opportunity to learn to row, develop their skills and improve their fitness. No experience is necessary!
During camp participants will have the opportunity to learn the rowing stroke, learn how to handle equipment and get on the water in shells to take strokes, develop skills and gain fitness. Athletes will also have the opportunity to gain physical stamina through on land conditioning and other rowing related training.
Athletes should bring a water bottle, running shoes, hat / sunglasses and sandals for walking on the beach.
**All athletes will need to complete Port Rowing's swim test before the first day of camp.
